Christmas is Right Round the Corner

Today, unlike I promised, I won't be doing anything special. The review will still have to wait, unfortunately.
Why? You want an honest answer? :P
I'm feeling lazy! I guess it's the vacations tearing me down.. The one bad side in holidays is that. Makes me lazy, which makes me bored, but since I'm lazy, I can do nothing to the boredom.
I'm not leaving you totally without a blog tho, since I probably won't write in the next two days (Christmas Eve and Christmas day! Yay).

Obviously and predictably our topic for today's gonna be Christmas!
Only one day to open presents, I'm already excited! I got presents from my dear friends, which I haven't opened yet. Against my expectations really, since I am really curious. I would've thought I'd open them already.
I have no idea of what I'm going to get from Santa. I haven't made any wishes, other than my gifts being cheap (our financial state, etc.)
If I get socks and chocolate, I'll be just as happy as if I got a new iPhone! I had been wishing for a new mobile, since mine is a bit sucky, and my mother's sucks and my bro's mobile sucks.
If I got a new one, my mom would get this less sucky one, isn't that logical and totally fair? Thought so :P

As for the "where" of our Christmas, the answer is Parkano! We're going to my mom's cousin. My grandmother is coming with us, and my mom's aunt is probably going to be there as well. Other people include my second cousin aged 10 and my mother's cousin's wife. Ohhh! And the lovely dogs and... two(?) cats! I might be taking some pictures, so I'm pretty excited! It's a long time since I've been photoshooting.
This isn't the first time we've been there, we usually go there every Christmas. It's usually fun, and the food is good. There's also Santa to whom we sing and we play ring games.
We stay overnight, and leave the next day :)

Now onto the random section (see, I told you it was going to be a short one :))

My friend said my nickname (Nipa) sounds like a penguin name! I was offended by that, since I don't want to be a penguin!
But my friend explained that it's not such a bad thing. In her opinion penguins are cute and intelligent animals. I hope so, too.

I like to talk to myself. I hope that doesn't sound weird and that everyone does that. If not, I apologize :D
It's not like I do it all the time, it just happens. And no, I don't discuss world hunger and climate change with myself. It's usually pretty stupid and idiotic subjects, but let me have that.

I'm stupid. Once again. I'm so inappropiate, I don't know when to say something and when to leave it out!
For not thinking before speaking, one of my friends got hurt. I hope she doesn't let that affect her Christmas, since Christmas should be a glad fest!

Other thing I noticed is that nights are scary. Especially if you're the only one awake, and you watch a video and in that video you see the doll from Saw. All the sounds coming from diverse parts of the house and the feeling that someones watching you!
Heh, I'm not really scared scared. I'm actually scared of thinking something really scary, like scenes of horror movies. And since I try to not thing about them, I usually think about them!
What a vicious cycle!

I just saw a reflection on the monitor. I hope it wasn't a ghoul ready to kill me and tear me apart =X

And I jumped over a point in my idea-paper! Notes that are pointless. And I mean with that Facebook notes.
You know, those in which you are asked to answer things about yourself. They are usually interesting, but only and only if you really take your time in answering the questions.
I've seen lots of people who just answer like "yeah" to each part. How dull is that to read?

Guess I've embarrassed myself enough for today.
I hope this gave you enough to laugh so that I can take two days off.

Next time's topics will be the teachers' layoff in our upper-secondary, a TV show called Prison Break (exciting!), hiding feelings (about which I had an interesting conversation with a friend) and hopefully the film review of Sixth Sense.

Talk to you then! Have a merry merry Xmas!
Two beuatiful songs today, enjoy :)
