It wasn't obvious, the fact that the days was going to be different, since it started pretty normal. I went to school, we had our Finnish classes (we had a music quiz, which we failed :D) and the next recess I went to get my independent course's exercises.
The teacher gave me a small piece of paper with the chapters I have to read and the exercises I have to complete on christmas holidays! How fun ;)
Then like in the middle of the second class, social studies, Santa came to visit us with his madam and his elves! We (mostly I :P) sung for him, and then his little helpers gave us (me! :D) some (one small chocolate) candy (which I didn't eat ;))
A funny thing is, that he teacher had offered us some candy just before they came in! Some of us ate more than the others *whistles*
I like social studies class, since we usually talk about interesting stuff. And it's always more than just writing, my wrist likes. We can talk about stuff pretty freely, share our opinions and stuff.
While we were having our meal, we were talking about what to eat and make for NY. I guess we didn't decide yet. I got angry from getting hit, since I hate being hit. Pfft.
I calmed down in maths I guess, my friend has that kind of influence on me. With her indecent comments and way of thinking (not that I'm not similar, and I never said it's a bad thing xD).
And maths, god, we're having logarithms, and I hate them already. And I can't afford to hate them, so I'll try to understand them this weekend!
After maths only biology to go. Our usual teacher wasn't there, so our principal was substituting her. Hearts and circulation of blood, how can it get any more interesting? ;)
That is I didn't go to the gym right after school, but I ate! And if you eat, you don't sport, so I had to do physics till about 5pm. Then I managed to get out in the cold for the five minutes it took me to walk to the gym.
When I was done, I noticed there wasn't going to go a bus home before 19:25, so I took the 18:40 and walked home from business center. It's about a km or two, which is not bad at all. I wasn't feeling cold either, until the last few ten meters :P
And that's it. I don't know why I told all this, since it's irrevelant and boring. Guess I still have my commentary topics to bring up (like if anyone commented anyway, except You, you know who You are!!, but why not try? :P)
Let's first go with.. friendship? Hmm, cliché, isn't it?
Let's not. Since I remembered a better subject, which occurred to me ... at some point of my intriguing day!
I'm thinking of making this my English project work! What could be more... modern, influential and well, interesting?
Since I'm already publishing these, it wouldn't be a problem presenting it in front of the class.
If I'd write a novel (which I've started already, but I start a lots of things and never finish them), I'd have to talk about it. And talking about my writings is just something I don't like to do. Specially in front of people who could not care less ;)
If I decide to do this as my project, it would mean I'd have to take stance on other things than just my days. Maybe something like ... politics (ugh), philosophical stuff (gah) or science (ack).
Guess a bad workman blames his tools!
Which makes a very (good) awkward transition to our next topic: proverbs!
They're fun to read and fun to find new and apt ones.
Some can be funny (Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!), others really incisive (If something can go wrong, it will).
I hope that wasn't too pessimistic for an ending!
PS. I know of the excessive use of parenthesis, but I seem to need them! So shush.

ReplyDeleteShe shouldn't have slapped you, it's not nice. But I'm glad I could cheer you up. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd I like parenthesis. I use them quite much myself.
